Dear Friends.

Very few Teachers and Staff members in N.M. College know about Mr.R.M.Kaoshik.
My 40 years autobiography from 1968-2008 is directly connected with development and history of N.M. College,which covers more then 14,600 pages from my personal diary.
Here I would like to give brief summary from 5th April 1950 to 11th June 1968
(on 12th June 1968, I came to N.M.College as a student)

On 5th April 1950,(Aries) I was born in a middle class Hindu Brahmin family in Vile parle,Mumbai (India) Upto 5th standard I took education from B.L.Ruia Hindi High School (Vile Parle east).
I Established myself as an above the average student all most all the teachers use to love me. In 2nd standard I was appointed as a class Monitor,but due to property disputes, our family
moved to Indore (M.P.)

In 6th,7th & 8th standard my language of learning was Marathi.From 7th standard I used to bunk the classes and started watching films sometimes 8 times or 10 times.As I was not knowing what they teach in the classroom. (I was totally confused about language)

In 8th standard any how I secured 1st class till that time Bombay was part of Maharashtra.
In the year 1965 Our family was shifted to Bombay & again I took admission in B.L.Ruia High School.

Year 1968, after passing 11th standard (I was under 11+4 Scheme) Mr. Chotabhai Patel(Treasurer) asked my father to put me in N.M.College.My fees was paid by Chotubhai Patel (thanks to Chotukaka) In the year 1970 I cleared my Inter(I was very much impressed by teaching of Our then, principal Mr.Gangadhar Gadgil and Principal Dr.U.R.Koli.(whatever I am here is due to the grace of Dr.U.R. Koli)

My family was not in the position to pay my college fees and so in 1970 I took job as a worker in Shreeniwas cotton Mills Lower Parel(my timings were from 10.00 P.M. to 7.00 A.M.in the morning)
In the year 1972 I cleared my B.Com with 2nd class honored (till that time I worked in various association again I was a known face in N.M.college due to my halping nature)

From 1972 to 1977 I was working in Shreeniwas cotton Mills but as a night-shift In-charge.( controlling more then 5,000 workers) From 1972-1974 I was after Dr.U.R.Koli to get registration for M.Com by research,in the same year I was awarded fellowship of N.M.college. In the year 1977 I was awarded M.Com 2nd class B+ (Grain Dealers in the city of Bombay)

In 1978, strike call was given by Dr.Datta Samant,I was without any job. my friends prof Deepak Bhatt & Prof B.A.Parmar requested Dr.U.R.Koli to appoint me as an accounts teacher and thus I started teaching in N.M.College. (I am very happy to see that Mrs. Vijayam remain with me from
very first day to last day 1978 to 2008)
From 1980 I was in tuition market(from F.Y.J.C. to T.Y.B.com) upto 1995 my name was known for personal home tuition for Rich and famous in J.V.P.D,Pali Hill and Lokhanwala. During the same time period I finished my L.L.B. Degree(1984-1987)As a teacher in last 30 years I never took I-Card of any student.

1995 onward I started group tuition. at my residence
(this shows my teaching ability in the class room).

In the year 1999 First time I went to London for personal work with permission but my visit was objected.Again in the year 2000 I went to New Zealand with permission but I was marked without pay for one month.(then I stopped taking permission for foreign visits and nothing happened)

From 2000 to 2002 was not a good period in my life,I was not happy with my top authorities. (After working for so many years I was treated just like a slave).

From year 2000, I joined ISKCON as an active member and then I realised that I should not run after material gain but I must get inner satisfaction.( I stopped watching films on the screen,No Tea & coffee no onion and garlic) I started chanting Hare Krishna.This Mantra gave me lot of confidence.

In the year 2005 I started my own website for 11th & 12th Commerce students. www.hscstudents.com as a free service to masses & this was a great achivement in my life. (My site is On ASP which provides Notes,Question Bank,Online Exam & other educational information)with more then 80,000 visitors and 4,500 members. (First Commerce website in South Asia).

16th November, 2005, I lost my best friend Dr.Deepak Bhatt(for 36 years we were together, then principal of Rutumbhra College)

I love N.M. staff members, (teaching and non-teaching) just like my own family members and I pray to Lord Krishna,that this love should remain forever.

I am thankful to Mr.S.S.Shetty,Mr.R.D.Shetty,Mr.Moghe,Mr.Gite,Mr.Parab, Mr A.B.Sing, and Mr.Kalekar for helping me in getting education from N.M.College (1968-1977).
Thank You very much my staff members for your support and love given to me. (My special thanks to Mrs Shantala Kothare, Mrs Ramila Desai, Mrs Binita Thakur, Mrs Suman Rao,Mrs Manju Malhotra,Mrs Vijayam,Miss Chandni Desai Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwala, Mr.J.B.Rajmane.Mr. Subhash,Mr. Kamraj and Mr. Chetan Gherwada)

After my retirement on 30th April 2008,I joined legal profession as a Lawyer,I am fully satisfied with my legal practice (Advocate Bombay High Court).

Now, apart from my legal practice,I am in tuition and foreign education counselling business. .
